In the week preceding the annual Honours Meeting in Kandersteg, all 15 ESR’s made their way to the Institute for Infectious Diseases (IFID) at the University of Berne for the Flavivirus Serology Course. During this course, different Flavivirus species, their impact on human and animal health as well as the correct interpretation of different diagnostic tests were discussed. Lively discussions over real and made-up case scenarios as well as all the fantastic talks, lead to a highly successful course. (Photo: Tim Passchier)
