Microarrays for Virus Detection at FLI

HONOURsTrainingRiems20190506_10From  6 - 8 May 2019 the course on Microarrays for Virus Detection was provided by the FLI. It was a mixed course with theory (given by Dirk Hoeper) and practical work (guided by Patrick Zitzow, Jenny Lorke, and Dirk Hoeper). The emphasis on experimental design theory and data analysis theory was very useful and informative. The ESRs appreciated the historical context, e.g. previous approaches to data normalisation, and the detailed comparison of the FLI workflow with other published workflows.
