PhD DEFENCE JOYCE ODEKE AKELLO!

On 21st of October 2020 Joyce Odeke Akello successfully defended her thesis: “Identification and Characterisation of Emerging Viruses from Clinical and Environmental Samples”. After a 40 minutes presentation, covering all work done in the past 3 years, Joyce answered questions from the audience, followed by a closed examination session with the defence committee. The committee members graded Joyce with the highest grade (6.0), and also the written thesis had an overall grade of 6.0!
